Marine Geoscience at the National Oceanography Centres, UK, is attracting new staff members

Marine Geosciences, at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton (UK), has up to six new research science positions including three Open-Ended, two Fixed-Term (4-year initial appointments), and one Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, to join our energetic and expanding group. We welcome outstanding applicants with expertise in any area of marine geoscience, and particularly welcome candidates with expertise in shallow fluid flow, geochemistry, deep-sea mineral resources, shallow section seismology, submarine geohazards and sedimentology, seafloor geophysical properties, and seafloor habitat mapping. We are also seeking geoscientists that can bring seagoing or laboratory-based technical expertise to complement the above scientific areas. Candidates from varying career stages are welcome, from early post doctoral to senior scientists.
