Postdoctoral position, Geomicrobiology/Microbial Ecology, Western Washington University, USA

This Postdoctoral Research Scientist will help carry out a project analyzing the community structure and diversity of marine microbial mats living at hydrothermal vents. This is a collaborative project aimed at understanding the functional genomics of microbial communities that form microbial mats, fueled by iron-rich hydrothermal vent fluids associated with submarine volcanoes.

POGO Visiting Fellowship

POGO is pleased to announce that it will once again offer a special POGO Visiting Fellowship for training on-board an Atlantic Meridional Transect (AMT) cruise in 2012.
