Rock Physicist (Fixed Term, Full Time)

National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton (Great Britain) is seeking a rock physicist to conduct experimental studies in the area of geological CO2 storage and to support marine geophysics research. The post holder will join an active rock physics research team of 4 staff and 3 PhD students seeking to understand fundamental fluid flow processes in the sub-seafloor, and how they may be detected and monitored using remote geophysical sensing, including both seismic and electrical methods.

Marine Seismologist (Permanent, Full Time)

National Oceanography Centre (NOC) in Southampton (Great Britain) is seeking a marine seismologist to lead the development of marine seismology research in strategically important areas of marine geoscience. NOC is seeking to strengthen expertise in active source marine seismology, especially the application of novel high resolution seismic techniques to research questions around the sustainable use of natural resources and geohazards impacts.
