The research objectives are to obtain physiological measurements, deploy in situ cameras and sensors, sample the hydrothermal vent plume of Grotto in the Main Endeavour vent field, and to recover and redeploy two acoustic scintillation moorings. The planned activities include 17 Alvin dives. The operations area will be the Main Endeavour vent field at 47°56.88 N, 129° 5.94W.
