The School of Earth Sciences (http://www.earthsci.unimelb.edu.au/) invites applications from highly qualified individuals to fill a new position in Structural Geology / Tectonics. This is a continuing position, and the appointment will be made at Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) level, dependent on your level of experience.
You will be required to develop, teach and administer components of the School's Earth Science undergraduate program and supervise Honours and Post-graduate students.
An important aspect of this position is to undertake individual and collaborative research, and attract research funding to support this research. You must have a background that quantitatively addresses continental deformation and its relationship to tectonic setting.
